They say that healing is a process which has its ups and downs.
TRUE.
HEALING isn’t always pretty and happy. There are somedays when it feels as if all the hurt, pain and sadness from the past enters your mind and feels as fresh as it was then.
You are going through the day with all happiness and peace within you and then suddenly out of nowhere the sadness, pain hits you and you feel low. This does not mean that your healing has stopped; it’s just that it’s a part of the process and with your awareness of your feelings and proper care this phase will pass.
You grow through it when you take your time to look back to see how far you have come and how much you have improved and healed over a period of time and realize that you are walking on the path to your good health, wellbeing, happiness and peace.
This isn’t just a dry write up; I am sharing this from my own experience. In fact, I decided to write this the moment sadness hit me out of nowhere. It took some time for me to realize that it was okay to feel the sadness and some strength to acknowledge my emotions.
